So it's a wonder that this project got made at all, with the end of summer and the start of school coming, things are just insane...poor craft corner is feeling some serious neglect. But somehow I have managed to keep up and complete at least one project for all of the challenges thus far...yay! I used Tim's Silhouette Framelits set on the Wallflower Vellum and embossed it with Distress Embossing Ink and Ranger Fine Detail Black Embossing Powder. You can't tell all that well in the photos, but this ended up being really cool, the embossing ink on the vellum with the fine embossing powder created these kind of pits in the image, like old enamel. It really is a neat effect that I am definitely going to experiment more with later. As I was severely short on time time for this challenge I decided to make a card for my sister. She just had her first baby. It is an amazingly beautiful thing to see my baby sister coming into her own as a mother. Tim's word band "Life is about Creating Yourself" is absolutely perfect for the sentiment on this card.
Well I hope you enjoyed your stop over here at My Altered Life, until next time, keep it crafty😉
